I am a football analytics researcher, software developer, and coach passionate about using data and technology to improve decision-making in coaching, recruitment, player development, and engagement.

I am currently completing a post-baccalaureate B.S. in Computer Science at Oregon State University, building on an M.S. in Immersive Media Communications from the University of Oregon and a B.S. in Interactive Media with minors in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Miami. My interdisciplinary background combines programming, data analytics, visualization, and communications with a lifelong passion for football.

My work focuses on transforming complex football data into practical insights. For my graduate capstone, I developed the Immersive Match Analysis Platform (IMAP), integrating Python, C#, Unity, and player tracking data to create an immersive environment for match analysis, recruitment, and player development. In 2026, I presented research at the American Soccer Insights Summit using SkillCorner and Wyscout data to examine how off-ball runs influence dribbling success, and I continue to explore player performance, tactical systems, and recruitment through independent analytics projects.

Alongside my technical work, I have supported collegiate football programs as an Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Eastern Oregon University and previously as a Student Manager with the University of Miami women's soccer team, contributing to match analysis, GPS performance tracking, and team operations. I also develop software at Oregon State University to help researchers manage and organize research data.

Having grown up playing competitive soccer with Nomads Soccer Club and San Diego Surf before playing Club Soccer at the University of Miami, I remain driven by the opportunity to bridge football, technology, and research. My goal is to develop innovative tools and analytics that help coaches, players, and clubs make better decisions while advancing the future of the game.

Immersive Match Analysis Platform

IMAP is a VR-based match analysis tool developed from my graduate research, allowing users to experience football matches from a player’s perspective using tracking data. Built with Unity, Python, and C#, it offers immersive features like player POV, dynamic visuals, and customizable analysis tools — revolutionizing how coaches, analysts, scouts and players review and learn from game footage. Portland Timbers Analysis

Portland Timbers show promise with fluid, non-positional attacking play and diagonal combinations — highlighted by Santiago Moreno’s movement. Moreno excels dribbling on the left but contributes more overall when free to roam from the right and is the key to creating dangerous opportunities. He excels most when free-roaming rather than situated out on the wing or the half-space. Influence of Pressing on Pass sequences

Analysis of Japan’s J1 League reveals that high pressing leads to more quick-shot opportunities, supporting the idea that pressing intensity and field position strongly influence shorter pass sequences before shots and goals. More

Bayer Leverkusen Defensive Analysis

Bayer Leverkusen’s disciplined defensive shape and pressing in a 3-0 win over Mönchengladbach limited central penetration and high-quality chances, especially in the first half. Even with reduced intensity after halftime, Leverkusen maintained control and secured a dominant result. More

Soccer Community

While my work focuses on football analytics, technology, and performance, the most meaningful lessons I have learned have come from the people the game brings together. Whether coaching, competing, studying abroad, volunteering, or simply joining a pickup game, every experience has offered an opportunity to learn from others and gain a new perspective. Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of playing, coaching, volunteering, and learning alongside people from diverse backgrounds in youth, collegiate, recreational, and international football environments. These experiences continue to shape both my professional development and my belief that the strongest teams are built on relationships, shared learning, and mutual respect. This collection highlights some of the people, teams, and organizations that have shaped my journey. Each experience has reinforced that football's greatest strength lies in its ability to connect people across cultures, backgrounds, and levels of play.
